family+friends+farm = love (texas style)

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the end of a hectic fall schedule than to spend the day at Katherine Center's family farm. This past Saturday was a spectacular fall day and we were surrounded by family, friends, and fresh air! Blog readers might remember Katherine as my very first inspiration interview! She'll be back on the blog in February when her new book, "Everyone is Beautiful" launches!

In addition to Katherine and her lovely family, we got to hang out with Kirtsy's own Laura Mayes (and adorable son),  Jenny "the bloggess" (and her awesome husband and daughter). And Shelley, Katherine's great sister, also joined the fun her precious daughter.

I made a little video to share with you on this Love Thursday! Music by k.d. lang from the Home on the Range soundtrack.

Have a great weekend! (And thank you for all of the birthday wishes)!

LOVE IT!

Happy Birthday, Brene...you look so happy and so beautiful in these pictures...which are, by the way, fantastic. You are quite the photographer!

Thanks for keeping me inspired...

Love,
Another friend (and social worker) in California...

That was fantastic! I love the picture of you and Steve together, and it would not have been the same without your signature side mirror shot...Too cute. The whole thing makes we want to head out and enjoy a 'little piece of heaven way out west.'

Looks like an awesome day! The pics are fab too- that one of Steve and you is amazing and the one of Steve and Charlie is beautiful. There were so many good ones. Texas in the fall is a lovely place isn't it?

I'm so jealous that you know the Bloggess! OMG, When I need a guaranteed, irreverent belly laugh, I go visit her.

Love love love your video, BTW. Great music pick too.

Alright Brene. Just want you to know that today is my birthday. My final and favorite gift of my day has been taking my sweet time going through your blog. Spending time looking at your blog is like therapy, spiritual aerobics, reading a favorite author, shopping and laughing til you cry with your girlfriends all rolled up into one. You rock. What a treat.

Do you have any idea how much I adore you? Because I don't think you do.

Happy late birthday, hotness.
