This is going to be an easy TGIF! I'm oozing gratitude over here today. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of the kind and supportive comments about The UP Experience. I'm also so grateful for the wonderful experience that I'm having over at PNN.

I'm going to make this short and sweet tonight so I can get some rest!

Today I'm trusting that good rest and healthy food makes everything better.

I'm grateful for this community.

I'm inspired by laughter. I once heard Anne Lammot say that "laughter is an effervescent form of holiness." I believe it. And . . . if you like Flight of the Concords, you have to watch this clip. OMG, it's so funny (in-a-too-true-to-not-be-funny kinda way)!

Happy TGIF! Can't wait to read your comments!

Wow Brene. We are both up late tonight! I am trusting my husband to warm up the bed before I crawl in. I am SO grateful my 3 kids all came home for the weekend. I love, love, love having a full house every now and then! I am inspired by all the creativity and beauty around me. Life is good! Good night! Sweet dreams!

I love short & sweet!

Today I am Trusting that, given pure and healthful nutrients and rest, my body will heal itself.

I am Grateful for the continued support and elightenment flowing from the Audacity of Authenticity journey on PNN.

I am Inspired by women who follow the spark of their idea through to a fantastic product that helps the busiest, most frazzled people ever - mums!
Today I am trusting in my most MondoBeyondo dreams. My very favorite MondoBeyondo from the last year is laying at my feet right now; last year, about this time, I declared I was getting a snow dog the 2nd week of August. I can't believe she's been here for 2 months!
Today I am grateful for a couple of opportunities I've had to see previous patients outside of the care environment this week. Sometimes it's pretty easy to get buried in this calling of mine and to lose sight of the big why. I've had some touching reminders, and I appreciate them deeply.
Today I am inspired by beautiful words and music that I'm finding in so many places of late. I could listen to Jack Ingram's "Seeing Stars" over and over and over....

As I am working on a translation trying to convert a badly written German text into something that can be understood in English, my tgif is all about this.

I am trusting in my ability to pull this translation off and for it to be finished on time and be good.

I am grateful that my husband is helping me with it.

I am inspired by myself for being relatively calm about it all!

Today I am trusting that will make it safely to the women's workshop I am attending even though it snowed last night!
I am grateful I have a four wheel drive vehicle.
I am inspired by all the wonderful women I will see and talk to today as we look inside ourselves and grow!

I am TRUSTING that there is the perfect "plan" for my husband and I within our church community. God knows where He wants us, how we can best serve Him, and He will show us the right path/s.

I am GRATEFUL for my friend Lori's most excellent pathology results following her mastectomy of last week; and I am grateful to live within 15 minutes of Lori. She truly embodies what "BFF" really is.

and

I am INSPIRED BY ... the goodness of people.

That's all --

What an exciting time for you, Brene! That is so wonderful.

I have been waiting for TGIF this week- I've been needing to remind myself of all of these princiles every day this week.

I am trusting that I'll catch on quickly to the new duties I'm learning at work.
I am grateful for the supportive people in my life (and that I'm letting them in).
I am inspired by this story of a teacher outsideof Taiwan. He's teaching a classroom of 35 ten-year-olds, and the main thing he wants them to learn is to be happy. It's all about their courage and compassion - just amazing. You can find the whole program on YouTube- it's called Children Full of Life.

I am TRUSTING that all the work I am doing now will pay-off.

I am GRATEFUL for peanut butter sandwiches, but more grateful for the fact that I am finally going to the grocery store today! Small thing, I know, but you are right: healthy food makes everything better.

I am INSPIRED by autumn

I'm trusting that I can focus long and hard enough to tie up the loose ends I need to - so that I can go on holidays and relax!

I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come up unexpectedly recently. Some dreams may just be coming true.

I'm inspired by stories about real people who persevere and overcome tragedy. Perspective, perspective, perspective...

I am trusting that being who we really are is our gift to each other and the world

I am grateful for the space to sit and be quiet

I am inspired by writers (liike Anne Lamott) who share their human, quirky selves and make us laugh out loud.

I am TRUSTING that nothing happens in God's world by mistake

I am GRATEFUL I got to go to an amazing women's conference this weekend and spend time with my momma and meet beautiful inspiring women.

I am INSPIRED by the laughter, silliness and 'inside jokes' that happen around the dinner table when my family gets the chance to all sit down together.

(p.s.: Brene, thank you for taking time to chat with my mom and I this weekend. we are inspired by YOU! )

I am trusting myself.

I am grateful for my life and the people in it.

I am inspired by the honesty and courage I have been seeing. It is asking me to be less judgmental, kinder and more open.

Thank you Brene, for giving all of us a forum for this. You are truly changing people's lives. (I know, because you are changing mine.)

I might have found you first on Twitter and then read about your 'Up Conference' spot while looking up what the talk about 'authenticity' was while writing a piece on Authenticity for my blog 'Serge the Concierge' http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/2009/10/sincerely-faking-generosity-and-authenticity.html
I am trying to wrap my hands around your concept of authenticity, honesty and shame.
My honesty cost me my main gig 6 weeks ago so should I have been less frank or would doing so have been dangerous to my health.
My 2 cents
