I'm totally addicted to this Houston band. I recently met Eric, the incredibly talented trumpet player - very cool guy. The sound is new and old and just awesome. I love this entire album. "Maybe It's True" is haunting to me.

if the nightstand could talk . . .

it would say:

1. she eats books like they're chocolates

2. she "got lucky" and got an advance copy of Katherine Center's amazing new book "Get Lucky." It sounds impossible, but her books just keep getting better!

3. she's a little addicted to Malcolm Gladwell

4. she's way behind on her book deadline

5. she loves mini-Boden and wishes the clothes came her size (elastic waist and all)

5. she's sick.

I'm going to take a few days off to feel better. I'll be back for TGIF!
