I spent the weekend in San Antonio with my family. My sister Barrett (far left) is pregnant with her first baby, and Ashley and I hosted a baby shower for her and her husband. It was great fun! Oh yeah, in case you're new here . . . I'm the oldest of four and my sisters are identical twins. My little brother Jason is the lucky insides to this sister sandwich.
We love Barrett and Frankie so much. And, as you can see, they love each other.
Barrett has been the "Awesome Aunt" for so long. We can't wait to watch her become a mom. This is "B" (as she's known to my kids and my niece) swimming with Ellen in Port Aransas.
We just found out that she's having a girl! It was a VERY pink shower. The baby's name is Gabriella!
But, it won't be all bows and dresses. Barrett is a serious tennis player and athlete. She's also a coach. Plus there's always our family's mandatory couture from Bucee's truck stop.
The shower was at La Fonda - one of our favorite places in San Antonio. Enchiladas and iced tea - that's how we roll. Steve's mom brought us all of the Christmas gifts that we couldn't fit in our car when we were in San Antonio for the holidays. The kids busted out the Rock'em Sock'em robots. It was incredibly loud . . .
. . . until it was cupcake time. Then everything got really quiet. It's too bad that they were so light on the icing.
