a week of worthiness!

On February 4th, I gave a lecture on my new research on love, belonging, and the power of being enough. The lecture was filmed and the DVD release date is today!

We're celebrating the release of "The Hustle for Worthiness" DVD with an entire Week of Worthiness. It's all part of the Wholehearted Revolution!

Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone; I am enough.

It’s going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am worthy of love and belonging

So many of us have knowingly created / unknowingly allowed / or been handed down a long list of worthiness "prerequisites."

I'll be worthy when I lose 20 pounds.

I'll be worthy if I get pregnant.

I'll be worthy if everyone thinks I'm a good mom.

I'll be worthy if I can make a living selling my art.

I'll be worthy if I can hold my marriage together.

I'll be worthy when I make partner.

I'll be worthy when I can do it all and look like I'm not even trying.

and so on . . .

Here's what is truly at the heart of Wholeheartedness:

Worthy NOW! Not when. Not if. We are worthy of love and belonging NOW. Right this minute. As is.

I'm giving away 3 copies of the DVD. All you have to do to win is leave your name along with this comment: "I am worthy NOW."

Join me and some of my favorite bloggers this week as we take to the streets to celebrate our messy, imperfect, wild, stretch-marked, wonderful, heartbreaking, grace-filled, and joyful lives!

There are wonderful giveaways coming from several different bloggers (check out the links below)! Also, stay tuned to this post to find out who is posting and what's going on!

Also, if you're blogging on worthiness this week, leave us a link once you've posted so we can connect!

If you're interested in learning more about my work on men, couples, parenting, the workplace, and the Wholehearted Journey, you can read more about the DVD here!

Someday I'll have to tell you all about my wholehearted experience of moving forward from a place and the overwhelming joy-fear-gratitude-shame dance I am finding it to be. When people say they will miss me, I have to slap down the unworthy, denying back talk because I don't quite believe them (or think they are very wrong, more to the point). I have even slipped into saying 'I am not worthy' when people say nice things about me...just last week, when it got super bad. Thank you, friend, for putting this message into the world and into our lives. I don't even care that you have somehow infiltrated my brain or house to know what and when I need help! I am worthy NOW!

I am worthy! It is easy to say these words, but a lot harder to believe them or feel them but I am going to try harder each day. I have put this article on my blog and I have also written a short review on stumble upon. I am worthy
