Thank you. I've been upside down with our computer hard drive having crashed twice in the past few weeks.... now with a whole new rebuilt computer (thanks to the marvelous husband of mine)..... it is nice to be back on line today and to come across this delightful video... I've been a mom for almost 18 years now, it is wonderful encouragement to know I am not alone and oh so blessed by circumstance of life ♥ whatever those circumstances may be... I've arrived to a wonderful junction in my life. With a total of five kids.... 2 of which are my stepkids... oh so blessed :) and OH so not alone! :)

Thanks for sharing the video...love it! I would second the "Get Sleep Now" message :) Becoming a mom is the best thing in the world. Slow down and appreciate the simple everyday moments...time really does fly by in the blink of an eye. Take pictures & videos...keep a journal. Never let a day go by without saying "I love you"...and give lots of hugs!

And also, I'd write this quote nice & big and put it somewhere I could see it every day...

To add to the chorus of the other commentators: this is a wonderful little video, and I want to share it with so many right now! Thank you for posting.

Motherhood is like a string of those little fairy lights of moments you mentioned in you last post; each twinkle is a smile, a memory, a moment of joy, of delight and they more than make up for that unlit little bulb that one encounters here and there. I cherish my collection of fairy lights and hope to make that string longer still.

One of my favourite signs from the video was:
"You are about to meet you true love".
How very true is that. Although at the time we may not really realize it. No matter how wonderful our relationship with our husbands are, no matter how much we love, and respect and support them, nothing comes close to that 'true love' we feel when we find ourselves in complete bliss over the sound of giggles, or catch our breaths at the sight of a smile that melts anything.

I shared it with my girls as they are having babies soon. I thought it was GREAT and need to put also let Grandpa's spoil them. As my dad was a wonderful spoiler and so is my husband. Love them both. My son must be a real man as he has no problem in changing diapers. They need one for the fathers also
