a picture is worth a thousand words

These are the graphic recordings of a talk that I gave on Inspired Leadership for Fraser Health. The artist is Colleen Stevenson. I'm absolutely blown away! When I asked Colleen how she chooses what gets recorded and what doesn't, she said, "I listen for the hush and the intense quiet. Those are the moments." Incredible.

I wish I could have been a part of this session - judging by these beautiful graphics it was filled with poignant messages I need to hear. Graphic facilitation is becoming very popular in a large variety of areas. Just Google 'graphic facilitation' and see how many sites and images you get. It certainly must be a catalyst for the artist at least to consider the verbal discussion in a very unique and intensely thoughtful way. Plus it sure is a pretty record :)
